He was born on the 29th of May 1963 in the United States of America. Hurwitz attended Georgetown University where he bagged his English and theology Degrees. He later dived onto the screens and started producing Television shows such as The Golden Palace, The Ellen Show, and his famous sitcom Arrested development. 

The American born is happily married to Mary Keenen. The duo walked down the aisle on the 8th of May 1999. They both share two beautiful daughters; May Asami who was born in 2000 and Phoebe Hitomi who was born in 2002. A character in Arrested Development called Maeby got his name from the combination of Hurfwitz’s two daughters’ names.

The 60 year old started exploring the entertainment industry in the 1980s and 1990s. He produced a number of sitcoms which include Nurses, The Golden Girls, The Golden Palace, The John Larroquette Show, The Ellen Show, Hench at Home, and Everything’s  Relative.

He also has to his credit Fox’s animated comedy Sit Down Up based on the Australian TV series of the same name for the 2008 season. He later created Running Wilde which aired for one season from 2010 to 2011.
