Strabane, Irish An Srath Bán, town and former district (1973–2015) within the former County Tyrone, now in Derry City and Strabane district, northwestern Northern Ireland. The town is located on the River Mourne at its confluence with the Finn to form the River Foyle near the border of the republic of Ireland.
