Maggie Steed was born on 1 December 1946 in Plymouth, England. She was born to her white parents, Geoffrey (father), and Baker Devon (mother). Similarly, she holds an English nationality and belongs to the Caucasian ethnicity.

Since a tender age, Maggie was so much fascinated by the film industry and decided to establish her professional life on the same stage. She studied drama at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in Bristol.

Even the time of her education, Maggie decided to try in the industry.
