Life before fame

Chandra Janway was born on July 16, 1978, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She is a daughter of Jack Janway and Lynn Janway. Chandra has three siblings Jordan Janway, Marianne Janway, and Caleb Janway. She grew in Muskogee alongside her siblings.

In addition, Chandra completed her graduation from the University of Oklahoma where she studied business communication in 2000.

Married to Jimmie Johnson

Chandra married  American Stock car racer, Jimmie Johnson.  She met seven-time NASCAR champion, Jimmie, in 2002 through Jeff Gordon. Her husband, Jeff is also a former professional Stock racer just like Jimmie.  The couple started dating each other after a week of their first meet.

Nevertheless, after getting to know each other for sometime Chandra and Jimmie got engaged in 2003 during a ski trip. They got married on December 11th, 2004 in St. Bart’s in a Christian ceremony among the close ones.
