Ceaser Emanuel was just a young man on the streets of New York before he found fame through his career as a tattoo artist. He then became a famous reality TV star featuring in the Black Ink Crew series for 10 seasons. Unfortunately, he was fired over a crime against animals when a video of him beating his dog surfaced on the internet.
Regardless of that, the 54-year-old graphic designer and tattooist sets to begin the Ceaser Emmanuel Show on I Am Network.
The reality TV star was fired from Black Ink Crew New York after a video of him beating a dog surfaced online.
The tattooist claimed that his being fired was done in haste as his side of the story was not fully heard. In this case, he revealed in an interview that his two dogs were attacking each other and were trying to stop the altercation between the animals.
While at it, one of the dogs turned to him in a violent manner and he was only trying to stop the animal. Unfortunately, he revealed that he was set up by the person (his ex, Suzette Samuel) who released the video.
It was later claimed that the video was old and the incident happened sometime in 2020.
The trained graphic designer was criticized for trying to make an excuse. In fact, his daughter Cheyenne Emanuel claimed that it was not the first time he got physical. She revealed that he had dragged her from the bathroom naked, and beat her up. Ceaser refuted the claim when he added that he only disciplined his child the way his parents would discipline him.
Going further, the reality TV star said that he was not on good terms with Cheyenne and she was only having a hard time accepting that she was no longer his only child.
Whatever the case, he later apologized for the deed (dog beating). He also turned himself in to the police in Georgia over animal cruelty charges.
Emmanuel received many death threats following the viral video of him abusing animals. This led him to a depression.
As earlier mentioned, he turned himself in and jail records show that the former VH1 star was said to be facing two misdemeanor charges of animal cruelty and one felony charge of aggravated cruelty to animals.
Animal cruelty may have been the most renowned controversy that Emmanuel has been involved in a number of controversies.
In 2018, a client sued him, claiming that her tattoo was infected. She demanded $500,000. If found guilty, the Bronx-born celebrity stood the chance of losing his business.
He had a fight with another Black Ink Crew cast, Alex Robinson. This resulted in industries that in turn led Robinson to sue Emmanuel and his cousin and another Black Ink Crew cast, Teddy Ruks. He demanded $1 million, claiming that the injuries caused severe tissue damage which would stop him from ever tattooing.
