Grace Harry found love in the arms of Questlove (born Ahmir Khalib Thompson) after her marriage with Usher ended. Usher’s former wife occasionally shares posts of herself and Questlove on social media all-loved up.

The former executive chef on Bill Cosby’s show started her own catering business in the 1990s but at the time she met Usher, she was a marketing executive for Island Def Jam Records. Their relationship started facing challenges after cheating allegations and accusations were leveled against Usher. Despite that, she and Usher maintained a united front until divorced in 2018.

Who is Grace Harry?

Grace Harry (born Michelle Grace Harry) was born on April 3 1969 in Brooklyn, New York. Reports say her mother, Michelle Karshan singlehandedly raised her and her two sisters.

Although there are no or fewer details about her educational qualifications, it is evident that she’s highly educated.

The self-proclaimed joy strategist has revealed that her mother taught her very early in life the importance of giving back which is why throughout her life, she wants to do things that impact the lives of others.

Besides that, she started off in the entertainment industry working with catering companies before she started her own catering company. She soon became the executive chef for The Cosby Show.

After the show ended she made her way up to the entertainment industry fully working for companies such as MCA Records, Jive Records, and Geffen Records. At the moment, she works as the executive vice president of Marketing/creative services at Island Def Jam Records.

She also works as a promoter of artists with so much love for abstract art. Aside from helping others, Grace Harry reportedly helped Usher while she was working as his manager. The artist even admitted that she helped him through the hardest times of his life and career.

She also worked with Usher’s charity New Look as one of the board members.

Grace Harry and Usher Married in 2015

Formerly known as Grace Miguel, Grace Harry and Usher married in September 2015 secretly while they were on vacation in Cuba. The pair dated for almost a decade before they tied the knot. At first, the union was only speculated but after a gold wedding band was spotted on Usher’s finger, many believed that was the confirmation needed. Usher would later confirm the marriage during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Barely a year after they married, Usher was accused of being a carrier of the herpes virus. Several allegations against him sprung up afterward. According to reports, a woman filed a $ 10 million lawsuit against him claiming that he exposed her to the virus without her consent. After the woman tested positive, she allegedly increased her lawsuit to $20 million.

Three more women later sued Grace’s then-husband on several allegations including sexual battery, infliction of emotional distress, and fraud. They also alleged that he was positive for herpes virus and did not tell them in advance.

All those allegations had a toll on their marriage they got separated in March 2018 and revealed that they would continue working together and remain close friends. On December 28, 2018, Usher filed for divorce from Miguel in Georgia.

She is Now Dating Questlove

Following the divorce, Grace Harry found love again with musician, songwriter, and drummer Questlove (born Ahmir Khalib Thompson),  a member of the hip-hop band “The Root”. The pair have occasionally shared posts of each on their social media.

According to reports, Harry’s boyfriend tweeted he was in his best relationship so far. The duo soon moved in together when Questlove bought a home in New York City after the Coronavirus lockdown.

Just as she has moved on, her ex-husband also moved on and has been dating stylist Jennifer Goicoechea since 2019.

Grace Harry Has Two Children  

The Brooklyn native has two grown-up kids from a previous relationship. Her daughter, Leaf McLean, is reportedly pursuing a career in the entertainment industry as well. As for her son, there’s no much information about him except that he was once romantically linked to Lauryn Hill’s daughter, Selah Marley.
