Dan Didn't Write A Book (Yet)
It would be delightfully gratuitous to make a joke about how surprising it is that Dan Bilzerian can even read, let alone write. And yet the truth is, he seems to have a pretty impressive mind for business (and a $200M net worth).
As numerous bios of the "Hugh Hefner-esque" millionaire note, Dan inherited cash from a trust fund, but he's somehow kept the machine going with gambling and other endeavors. No, it doesn't take a brilliant person to spend their inheritance -- but he hasn't tanked yet, and that has onlookers intrigued.
Of course, there was some drama around the release of Dan's book, and ultimately, he didn't really write it. Well, not entirely.
A Writer Picked Up The Project...
As the story goes, Dan had struck up a deal with a publishing house, but then he didn't deliver the project as agreed upon. But Dan himself maintains that the publisher had his story ghostwritten and that he didn't like it.
The solution, Bilzerian explained, was that he'd write the darn book himself. He even captioned multiple Instagram posts as such, though he seems to get a lot of help from his lady friends.
The only issue is that the existing book that has been published doesn't list Dan Bilzerian's name as the author. The author of a book about Dan ('Dan Bilzerian: Rich & Thick with Chicks') is credited as Nate Plissken.
While readers can make their own judgments, the "look inside" preview on Amazon definitely doesn't inspire readers to buy the whole thing (even at $3.99). But is this the long-awaited book that Bilzerian had fans salivating over?
