In Hollywood, size seems to matter. At least, in terms of how tall a celebrity (especially male celebs) is. From action film sets to pairing leading ladies up with taller dudes, there's this sense that men need to be six-foot-two in Hollywood to get by.
Though some guys fit the bill, not all do, and Kevin Hart is one of them.
He's earned a reputation for being hilarious and talented, but his height is one of those things that Kevin can't joke away, no matter how much he tries.

Who really knows how tall Kevin Hart is? He probably does, but he's apparently not very open about sharing. While he can't help but look somewhat slight next to his relatively Amazonian wife (no really, she's not that tall, it's definitely relative), Kevin can fudge the numbers a little.
For example, some sources suggest that Kevin Hart is only about five foot two. Kevin would likely balk at that, however, because some say that he once claimed to be 5'4.5". In fact, he's made jokes about growing to "a full 5 foot five.' It seems clear that Kevin is sticking by his 5'4.5" claim.
But what's the more realistic figure?
Sources often speculate Kevin is somewhere between five feet two inches and five feet four inches tall (no mention of that missing half inch). But Kevin himself appeared to confirm his actual height -- with a lie detector test!
Kevin Hart Admitted To His (True?) Height
In a funny yet somewhat uncomfortable interview with Vanity Fair, which then wound up on YouTube, Kevin Hart literally took a lie detector test and was asked about his height.
When the interviewer asked him to confirm that he's 5'2", Kevin burst out with "Absolutely not." But at that very moment, the polygraph started ticking.
As Hart counted down from five foot four to five foot two, he seemed to become more resigned to spilling the truth.
But was the interview (and the polygraph test) authentic, or was it all just a big joke? Looking at Hart's history of joking about his height on Twitter, it's tough to say. He's completely fine with making jokes about himself, although he does say he won't change his body to appease society.
