Defog Your Windshield When It's Raining
- Turn on your air conditioner. Pressing the A/C button engages the help of the system's coils in removing moisture from the air.
- Turn air recirculation off. This is the number one mistake people make when trying to rapidly defog windows.
What does the defog button look like?
It looks like a window with three arrows pointing upward. Make sure you press that so that the heated air targets the foggy windows. Also, some cars have a separate button for the rear defrosters. If you have one of those, be sure to press that one as well.
What button do you press to defog windshield?
Press the defrost buttons, turn the fan on high, turn the temperature down low and open the windows. This is the quickest way to dissipate the condensation.
