Method of use: Place the interfacing with the coated side on the wrong side of the fabric. Then using dry heat glide the iron firmly 5-6 times very slowly over each area of the insert, so that each area receives approx. 8 seconds of heat.
How is interfacing used?
Interfacing is a fabric which is used to make certain parts of a garment more stable. It is used as an additional layer which is applied to the inside of garments, such as collars, cuffs, waistbands and pockets, helping to add firmness, shape, structure, and support to the clothes.
Is vilene the same as interfacing?

Vilene create a wide range of interfacings, stabilisers, fusibles and waddings. They are an established brand and are well known by quilters, patchworkers and sewers. Vilene have recently changed their name to Vlieseline but they are the same company.
