If your final etched, glasswear is coming out blotchy, it could mean that either that (1) you didn't apply a thick enough layer of Armour Etching Cream in a patting motion, or (2) the cream needs to sit on the glass a little longer before rinsing it off.

How do you fix etching mistakes?

For small mistakes, try a small dot of clear nail polish to cover a small mistake. The etching error will not go away, but the clear nail polish will cover the mistake and your eyes will not see the obscure etched area.
