If you don’t own a tumble dryer or have limited outdoor space to dry your laundry, it is sometimes worth running your clean wash on an extra spin and drain cycle to help remove as much water as possible from your laundry as it will help reduce drying time.

Is spin the same as drying?

Air drying is you taking the wet clothing out of the washing machine and HOPING that they are dry by the time you come home or overnight. Spin drying uses a DRYER and that means within an hour or so your clothing would be dry !

Do you have to run a spin cycle twice?

– Check the drain pump debris filter or coin trap, objects may be blocking the water flow. – Check inside drain pump and all hoses connected to drain pump for foreign debris or small pieces of clothing. – Be sure the wash load of clothing is balanced, balance out the wash load if you see all clothing to one side.
