You can drive down there or take the train to the island. You can also visit in and see Mont Saint Michel from Paris as part of a guided tour where transportation is included. The timings between May 19 to August 31 are 9 AM to 7 PM, and between September 1 to April 30 are 9:30 AM to 6 PM.
Does Mont St Michel close?
There are no opening hours or admission tickets for the old town area of Mont St Michel. The village is particularly pleasant early morning or in the evening after the day-trippers have left.
Is Mont-Saint-Michel open in winter?
The abbey is only closed 3 days a year: January 1, May 1 and December 25. To access Mont-Saint-Michel, you can decide to finish up on foot.
