Tragedy struck on Friday night in Delaware as Glenn Porter, a 20-year-old young man and the son of District Judge Eric Porter, lost his life in a devastating vehicle crash. Keep reading this article to learn more about this incident.
Glenn Porter Accident: What was his Cause of death?
The incident occurred on Seashore Highway near Bridgeville shortly before midnight. According to a news release from Delaware State Police, an SUV veered across the centerline, colliding with Glenn Porter’s parents’ pickup truck, which was driving in front of him. Subsequently, the SUV struck Glenn’s sedan head-on, causing severe damage. Despite efforts to save his life, Glenn Porter succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital. His girlfriend, Kylie Quigley, aged 19 and a resident of Stockdale, also suffered serious injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.
The driver of the other vehicle involved, a 49-year-old woman from Maryland whose identity remains undisclosed, was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. The incident has left the community devastated, mourning the loss of a young life and hoping for Kylie Quigley’s recovery.
The Delaware State Police have confirmed that they are actively conducting an ongoing investigation into the crash.
