Doev Dmitry, born on July 12, 1966, in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) and grew up in a family of intellectuals. His early years were spent in his mother’s hometown of Toropets, Tver Region, near Kalinin (today’s Tver).
In the late 1960s, the Doevs returned to the Northern Capital. Dmitry Doev and his parents lived on the southeastern outskirts of Leningrad, and he attended a specialized physics and mathematics high school.
