NBA Gary Payton Illness During Today Match May 2023

During Game 4 of the 2023 NBA Playoffs between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers, guard Gary Payton II reportedly played a full defensive possession with vomit in his mouth.

He then walked off the court, leaving the Warriors to play 4-on-5 on the next possession, resulting in Draymond Green’s turnover.

Fans were left wondering why Payton had left the court, but it was later speculated that he had to let the vomit out.

The Warriors, already down 2-1 in the series, were facing a must-win game, and Payton’s illness could have contributed to the team’s struggles.

Despite the setback, the Warriors managed to stay in the game but ultimately fell to the Lakers 110-105, putting them on the brink of elimination from the playoffs.
