Cacoxenite Crystal

Cacoxenite Crystal

What is Cacoxenite Crystal?

Cacoxenite Crystal, known as the Stone of Ascension, has rare energetic properties that elevate and improve whatever crystals are found with it.

Appearing in rare extrusions of Amethyst and Quartz, Cacoxenite forms as strands of yellow, gold or rich, earthy brown within larger outcrops of host crystals.

Cacoxenite Crystals were first discovered in Bohemia, in what is now the Czech Republic, in 1825.

Since that time they have been found in Sweden, Germany, France, England, and the United States.

In mineral terms, Cacoxenite is a type of iron ore, and a form of iron aluminum phosphate, with a glossy luster, and a hardness of 3-4 on the Moh Scale.

Cacoxenite Crystal Meaning

The name, Cacoxenite, comes from the Greek roots for ‘evil’ or ‘bad’ ‘guest’ because of the phosphorous content in Cacoxenite.

Being composed of iron aluminum phosphate minerals, Cacoxenite was seen as an impurity when it occurred in veins of iron ore, reducing the quality of the iron smelted from it.

When found as yellow and orange strands of crystals in larger outcroppings of Quartz and Amethyst, Cacoxenite is seen as an enhancement, expanding the qualities of the stones with which it appears.

Cacoxenite appears as golden, radiant clumps of crystal embedded within a host crystal, thus adding to the beauty and energetic qualities of the crystal in which it appears.

Cacoxenite is a crystal that is believed to make something that is already quite good even better, improving whatever qualities you find in the host crystal in when it has formed.

The energetic and healing characteristics of Cacoxenite depend to a degree on the type of crystal in which it is found.

When found in Amethyst crystals, Cacoxenite is a regenerative crystal that can be used to regenerate and reprogram the cells of the body.

The vibrational qualities of Cacoxenite provide us with spiritual and emotional guidance, helping us sense when we have strayed from our spiritual path and guiding us back onto the correct path.

Those who wear Cacoxenite can sense the basic goodness and kindness of others, as it aligns them with their higher selves.
