Hroniss Grasu (born on 12th August 1991) is a 32-year-old American football player and the partner of Sabrina Ionescu, an American professional basketball player for the New York Liberty of the WNBA.

Besides being Sabrina Ionescu’s partner, Hroniss Grasu has made a name for himself. He has since 2015 become famous as a football center for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). His parents Ștefan and Mariana Grasu migrated from Romania to Los Angeles in 1982. They own and run the “Greco’s New York Pizzeria,” a pizza restaurant located on Hollywood Boulevard. Meanwhile, his father previously worked as a stuntman in the film industry in Romania while his mother was a goaltender for the Romania national handball team.

Hronis grew up with his parents and brother in Los Angele where he attended Crespi Carmelite High School. At Crespi, Hroniss was roommates with Bryan Bennett, Oregon’s former backup quarterback. The two were also teammates during the start of their careers at Oregon.

Although it is not known exactly when they met for the first time, the couple has been dating for some time now but decided to keep it a secret until 2021. In August 2021, Sabrina Ionescu left many of her fans stunned after she took to her Instagram page to wish Grasu a happy birthday.

Sabrina who has over the years been very secretive about her love life and keeps it totally out of the media made headlines for a different reason which seemed to be of interest to her fans. Before then, she had only been making the news mostly for reasons related to her successes in her professional career.
