Raquel Martin is an American news journalist currently working as a Washington D.C correspondent for Nexstar Media Group. Ms. Martin joined the Washington D.C. Bureau in March 2019 from WCIA3 in Springfield, IL.

Martin moved from WCIA3 in Springfield, Illinois, where she covered Illinois politics as a Statehouse Reporter/Producer, to the Washington D.C. Bureau in March 2019. She additionally covered the visits of prominent state traits like Vice President Mike Pence and President Donald J. Trump.
