6ix9ine’s net worth in 2023

The rapper has a net worth of just $500,000, Celebrity Net Worth reveals.

In 2021, HITC reported that Tekashi was worth $8 million, so it has plummeted significantly in the past two years.

The star earned a significant amount of money over the years through his record deals, releasing two studio albums and many singles.

However, his career has been impacted by the star’s criminality and jail time. He was arrested in 2018 on racketeering charges and initially faced 47 years in prison.

This was reduced to 24 months after he pleaded guilty to the New York gang charges. He was then released early due to coronavirus concerns as he has asthma.

The rapper spent the last few months of his sentence on home confinement before being freed in August 2020.

Rapper suffering financial hardship

In March 2022, the star, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, claimed he was facing severe financial problems in civil court documents.

The rapper claimed he was receiving no income from music royalties and was unable to earn any money from touring.

“I do not know if I will ever command the kind of advances I was paid before my arrest, and my career stalled,” he said in the filing.

“I did receive large advances under the recording artist and merchandising agreements prior to my arrest,” the rapper continued.

“However, I do not receive any royalties under those agreements either since my royalty accounts remained un-recouped.”

He said he had had to try and restart his career after his release from prison and “was out of the business for two years” which caused him to “lose all the momentum” he had.

“I may never reach the levels of success I had before my arrest.”
