Teoscar Hernandez and his wife Jennifer have a new baby boy named Julian.

In addition to his Jays winning five of their previous six games, he has become a father for the second time. Hazel Mae of Sportsnet tweeted a picture of the newborn and congratulated the parents on the safe delivery of their third child.

Hernandez will be on paternity leave for the Blue Jays following the birth of his third child, after snapping an eight-game hitting streak against the Orioles on September 6. Raimel Tapia, who is hitting sixth and starting in right field while Hernandez is out, should continue to see more playing time.

Teoscar’s professional baseball career began with the Astros of the Dominican Summer League until he signed as an international free agent with the Houston Astros in 2011. In addition, after several seasons with the organization, he was promoted to the top league in 2017.
