After suffering yet another defeat in the World Cup, The Japan Football Association comes up with a solution. However, the higher-ups are not on board with this decision. As even though Japan’s performance at the event is abysmal, the profits they bring in make up for the difference.
However, Anri Teieri ridicules them for having such ridiculous expectations. She conways that it’s her dream to see Japan win the World Cup. And to achieve that goal she has a plan in mind. She wants to Hire Jinpachi Ego to coach the team to win the World Cup.
Jinpachi Ego is put in charge of a State of Art Training Facility, Blue Lock. He deduces that the only thing that is holding back the Japanese Team from winning the world cup is the absence of a phenomenal striker. And that is exactly what he wants to create.
He envites about 300 strikes from around the country whom he will train and assess based on the performance. Only one of them will make it to the top. For starters everyone is given a uniform with numbers spanning from 1-300. That is were they rank among 300 there.
Our Proyaganist Yoichi Isagi ranks 299 out of the 300. After he has settled in Ego comes on the screen to tell them the rules. If they rank at the bottom consistently they will be kicked out of the facility. Furthermore, they will be barred from ever attending a National Competetion.
It was then he realise that things are more serious than they appear. Either become the player Ego wants them to become. Or say goodbye to their football careers forever. Isagi makes a decision to win no matter what. But at the last second he too seems to show some hesitation.
Blue Lock Chapter 208 Recap – The Story Till Now
With the match against the Ubers closing in fast those who remain are working hard to hone their skills. Isagi appears to be evolving at a mosnterous pace. However, he still does not feel confident enough to go against Kaiser. He talks about his last game where he was able to outclass everyone.
He still feels that he is missing one crucial piece that sets him behind from Kaiser. He talks about Meta Vison, the technique which allows him to scan the entire field with his pherepherial vision. However, there is a drawback. Using Meta-Vision drains his stamina quickly.
So he is working on raising his Stamina so he can use Meta Vision more efficiently. Then we hear Gurimu Igarashi talking about the new skill he has mastered. A skill that allows him to draw fouls from anyone approaching from his right side. A skill called Malicia.
After hearing Igarashi’s testimony, Isagi gets an idea. He seems to be confident that with this he will be able to beat Kaiser. However, to cannot master this play in such a short amount of time. Not alone atlest. He decides to enlist Kunigami Rensuke to hell him reach his goal.

There isn’t much information available about the upcoming chapter of Blue Lock. However, judging from the last chapter Blue Lock Chapter 209 will be a crucial one in the series. We saw Isagi getting inspired by Igarashi into finding the missing piece. The Final piece that will allow him to win against Kaiser.
He recognised that he will not be able to perfect this new plan alone. so he decided to seek help. The one he seeks is not other than Kunigame “Musclehead” Rensuke. At this moment we do now what Isagi has up his sleeve. One thing is for certain. This will change how they look at Football Forever.
