Andrew Richardson biography
Andrew C. Richardson serves as Independent Chairman of the Board of the Company. He is chairman of the Board, chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee of the Board (the “Compensation Committee”). Mr. Richardson is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Waypoint Real Estate Investments, a private real estate investment firm focused on the U.S. residential sector. He has held this position since May 2019. Previously, Mr. Richardson served as the Chief Financial Officer and President of Land and Development of iStar, Inc., an NYSE-listed REIT, and as the Chief Financial Officer of Safehold Inc., an NYSE-listed ground lease REIT that is externally managed by iStar, from March 2018 to May 2019. Mr. Richardson also served as the Chief Financial Officer of The Howard Hughes Corporation, an NYSE-listed company that owns, manages and develops commercial, residential and mixed-use real estate throughout the U.S., from 2011 to 2016 and as the Chief Financial Officer of NorthStar Realty Finance Corp., an NYSE-listed real estate finance company, from 2006 to 2011.
