Odilon Almeida biography

Odilon Almeida serves as Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Odilon Almeida was re-elected to the Board in May 2019. Mr. Almeida, born in 1961, is a senior global leader in the financial, fin-tech, telecom, and consumer goods sectors, and will join ACI Worldwide Inc. as President and CEO in March 2020. He will also be appointed to the Board of ACI. Previously he was an Operating Partner at Advent International, one of the world’s largest private equity funds with $54.3B in assets under management and 345+ investments across 41 countries. His board experience, along with business leadership at Western Union, includes BankBoston (now Bank of America), The Coca-Cola Company and Colgate-Palmolive. Mr. Almeida holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from the Maua Engineering School in São Paulo, Brazil, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of São Paulo and an MBA with specialization in Marketing from the Getulio Vargas Foundation, São Paulo. He advanced his education with executive studies at IMD Lausanne, The Wharton School, and Harvard Business School.
