Ray Singleton biography

Ray Singleton serves as Director of the Company. Mr. Singleton has been one of our directors since July 1989. From December 2014 through June 2018, he served as our Executive Vice President - Northern Region. Previously, he served as our President and Chief Executive Officer from March 1993 until the closing of our strategic combination with Oak Valley Resources, LLC in December 2014. Mr. Singleton joined us in 1988 as a Production Manager/Petroleum Engineer. From 1983 until 1988, he owned and operated an engineering consulting firm (Singleton & Associates) serving the needs of 40 small oil and gas clients. During this period, he was engaged by the Company on various projects in south Texas and the Rocky Mountain region. Mr. Singleton is a petroleum engineer with over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Singleton began his career with Amoco Production Company in 1973 as a production engineer. He was subsequently employed by Champlin Petroleum as a drilling, completion and production engineer from 1980 to 1983. His professional experience includes acquisition evaluation and economics, along with drilling, completion and production engineering in both Texas and the Rocky Mountain region. In addition, he possesses over 25 years of C-suite experience. Mr. Singleton received a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1973, and received an MBA from Colorado State University’s Executive MBA Program in 1992. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
