After "Made in Abyss" Season 2 was first officially announced in 2019, we finally know when it's coming to the small screen. Or, at least we know the year — 2022. There is no confirmed release date yet beyond the ballpark of an entire year, but we do know the title will be "Made in Abyss: The Golden Town of the Relentless Day." In addition to the second season, "Made in Abyss" is also getting a video game adaptation in 2022, titled "Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness," for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via ComicBook).

The manga, written by Akihito Tsukushi, has been published regularly since its debut in 2012. There are currently nine volumes, but the series is ongoing, with a few chapters released on Web Comic Gamma that have yet to be collected into a 10th volume. The anime, which first came out in 2017, has yet to catch up to where the manga is.
