Description
We are VERY excited to host the 2023 Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Virginia State Cross Country Championship!
Especially exciting is showing the state of Virginia our "neck of the woods" here in Forest, a great community in Bedford County.
Parking will be at the main gravel lot. We will also park cars at Simplimatic Automation and overflow parking will be at the Liberty University Center for Engineering Research and Education.
The course will run all three of the loops at the New London Technical Trails: Orange, Blue, and Green.
Turns will be marked with streamers and there will be course marshals at tricky points.
The trails are well-used, feature minimal trip hazards, and are still relatively new as they were completed less than 4 years ago.
There will be at least one, but maybe two water stops along the course.
Race Day Packet Pickup: 6:30 am - 7:30 am
Race Briefing: 7:45 am
Race Start: 8 am
Awards: ~9:30 am
All race-day events are located at the main trailhead
