Wally Kormylo Obituary, Death – WALLY KORMYLO Passed away on December 8th, 1926, and will be remembered here until October 3rd, 2023. A little over two weeks ago, we were celebrating the career of a true legend who had lasted 76 years… a man who filled each and every day with love. He was devoted to his wife and children, his friends and acquaintances, the game of hockey, and each and every player who stepped foot on the rink.

But those who knew him well also know that he cherished each and every bowl of soup that he ever consumed, that he cherished sitting on the couch upstairs and letting the sun hit him in the face, and that he cherished sitting on the chair in the garage and greeting each neighbor as they entered and exited the area. He was overjoyed that the staff at McDonald’s, CVS, Chase Bank, and Great Clips all knew his name and went out of their way to attend to his needs.

He enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches that his wife Darlene prepared for him each and every morning, the beginning of hockey season, and it brought him great joy to see others achieve success in hockey or in any other area of their lives. He has a PASSION FOR LIFE! Wally went away on October 3rd, and all of us are inconsolable over it.

Wally, the hockey community adored you, and we shall all miss having you around.
