Alejandro Coranzo ‘Ohgeesy’ is a Mexican-American rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, and band member of Shoreline Mafia. The band is at present signed to Atlantic Records and is known for songs such as ‘Bottle Service’, ‘Nun Major’, ‘Musty’, and ‘Breakdown’. As a member of the band, Ohgeesy has enjoyed several RIAA platinum certification and from the look of things, there’s no stopping for him as regards his career in the music industry anytime soon.

Ohgeesy was born on November 27, 1993, in Los Angeles, California.
His parents are of Mexican descent. The rapper’s childhood came with several challenges including him watching his father going to prison when he was about 8/9 years old. In this regard, his relationship with his father was more of a stranger-stranger relationship other than a father-son relationship by the time his father was out of prison and Ohgeesy was about 15 years old.
However, amidst the tough childhood, Ohgeesy found himself been drawn to music and began listening to singers like 50 Cent and Gucci Mane.
He pushed hard to become a musician and in 2012, he formed a group called Shoreline Mafia. The group has other members such as Fenix (Former), Master Kato, and Rob Vicious.

At some point, Ohgeesy’s father was absent and he later had a stepfather. But generally, the rapper was raised by his mother.
2. His Father Was Arrested For Drug Dealing
Ohgeesy although does not have so much of a good relationship with his father since they barely knew each other, he still has the memory of why his father was arrested. According to the rapper, his father got arrested for drug dealing and would go on to describe him as a gangster.

When Ohgeesy was 17, his father got deported from the United States to Mexico. After the deportation, he did not speak to his father until about 5/6 years after.
Like many other musicians, Ohgeesy took advantage of SoundCloud to start uploading his music before breaking into the larger market of music and Shoreline Mafia becoming an official rap group.

Ohgeesy and former Shoreline member Fenix grew up in East Hollywood, Los Angeles. However, the two never crossed paths until they linked through MySpace in 2012 while doing graffiti in high school. Later, the group rose from having just two of its foremost members to a group of 4 with an addition of Master Kato and Rob Vicious in 2014.

In the coming years, aside from releasing songs as a member of Shoreline Mafia which has gained well over 600 million views on YouTube, Ohgeesy has gone forth to collaborate with other big artists such as BandGang Lonnie on the song Homicide.
