Who Are They and Has It Finished?

The cast of Shoresy includes Jared Keeso, Tasya Teles, Harlan Blayne Kywayhat, and Terry Ryan. The Canadian television comedy series is a spinoff of Letterkenny, which was created by Jared Keeso. At the moment, it has not been revealed if there would be a season 2 of the show which premiered on Hulu in 2022. Shoresy’s first four episodes were released in May 2022 while the others were released on May 27.

Meet the Cast of Shoresy

Jared Keeso as “Shoresy” Shore 

Canadian actor and screenwriter, Jared Keeso created and starred in the comedy series Letterkenny, for which he won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Comedy Series in 2017.

Besides Shoresy, the 39-year-old has also featured other movies such as Eve’s Christmas (2004), Keep Your Head Up Kid: The Don Cherry Story (2010), and 19-2(2014-2017).

Like almost all the actors, Keeso played junior hockey for the Strathroy Rockets of the WOHL.

Tasya Teles as Nat

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Tasya Teles is known for her role as Echo in The CW’s The 100.  Teles is the tough-talking, uncompromising owner of the hockey team in the series. She has also worked in several Indie features such as Leila, Regret, and Skin Trade (2014).

She has also appeared on Continuum, Witches of East End, and Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever. Her most recent role is starring as Lynn in the fourth season of Legacies.

Harlan Blayne Kytwayhat as Sanguinet

Featuring as Sanguinet in Shoresy, Harlan is the best friend, hockey player, and reluctant head coach of the Bulldogs in the movie. While still a newbie in the movie industry, Harlan has appeared in TV shows, Tribal, and Prey.

Jonathan Diaby as Himself, “Dolo”

Montréal native, Jonathan Diaby acted as himself in Shoresy. He was drafted in 2013 in the third round No.64 overall by Nashville Predator.

The 29-year-old hockey player is also a musician. He uses the name JoDolo as an artist. His role in the show had something to do with his music which he revealed was a big thing for him.

Terry Ryan as Ted Hitchcock

Terry Ryan is not just an actor but also a former professional ice hockey player. He played for the Montreal Canadiens between 1996 and 1999.

At a young age, Terry played in the 1990 and 1991 Quebec International PeeWee Hockey Tournaments. Far from his sporty career, the actor has appeared on several episodes of television series such as Republic of Doyle, Hockey Rumble, and Dawn of the Dead.

Ryan McDonell as Mark Michaels

Ryan McDonell is also an accomplished singer and songwriter. He grew up playing hockey as well as performing in several bands.

He is one of the main cast of Shoresy where he acted as Mark Michaels.

Keilani Rose as Miigwan & Blair Lamora as Ziigwan

Keilani Rose stars as Miigwan while Blair as Ziigwan. The two women were Nat’ssidekicks and assistants in the series. Aside from Shoresy, Keilani Rose is known for her role in the TV show, Flimsy, and The Sinners.

Blair Lamora on the other hand got her biggest acting role as a guest in one of the episodes of Outlander season 6.

Has Shoresy Finished?

Following the release of the six episodes of Shoresy, the show’s fans have wondered if there would be a season two and if yes, when would it be premiered?

There have been speculations that new episodes would be available in 2023 although it has not been officially announced by Hulu yet.

While that is yet to be confirmed, the Canadian sitcom has received praise for its humor, droll, childish portrayal of characters and storyline.

Also, NEXT magazine described the show as a fast-paced show with a linear narrative that lacked the stiffness and awkwardness of most television series about hockey.
