The cast of Hawaiian Eye has a number of accomplished actors, including Poncie Ponce, Anthony Eisley, Robert Conrad, and Connie Stevens. The majority of the regular actors from the series have already passed away, and the ones who are still alive are too old to play active roles on television.
Meanwhile, Hawaiian Eye was an American detective drama that aired on the ABC television network from October 1959 to April 1963. The show would go on to serve as a model for a plethora of other crime action-drama detective and police procedural television programs set in and around Hawaii, including Hawaii Five-O and its reboot series, Magnum, P.I., and NCIS: Hawai’i.

American actor Anthony Eisley began his professional career in 1950. In the 1952 film Fearless Fagan, he played a military policeman in his first on-screen appearance. Eisley’s big break, however, came when he was cast in a Pasadena production of Who Was That Lady I Saw You With? and was offered a deal by Warner Bros. Moreover, Eisley is most known for playing the lead in the television series Hawaiian Eye.
In 1951, Eisley wed Judith Tubbs. They had four children and remained together up to her passing on January 9th, 1994.
On January 29, 2003, in Woodland Hills, California, Anthony Eisley also passed away from heart failure.
Robert Conrad was an American actor, singer, and stuntman who appeared in movies and television. He made his acting debut in 1958 and is most remembered for his part in the television series The Wild Wild West, which ran from 1965 until 1969.
With his first wife Joan, Conrad had five children during the course of their 25-year marriage. In 1977, they separated amicably. He met LaVelda Ione Fann, his second wife, in the same year when he presided over the Miss National Teenager Pageant, which she won. Before divorcing in 2010, they had three children together.
On February 8, 2020, Conrad, then 84 years old, passed away in Malibu, California, from heart failure. Dead Above Ground was his last known movie (2002).

American actress and singer Connie Stevens was born in Brooklyn, New York City. She started her career in 1957, appearing in Young and Dangerous, her first feature film. Stevens became well-known for her depiction of “Cricket” Blake in the 1959–1960 network television series Hawaiian Eye.
When her record “Sixteen Reasons” became a radio hit and peaked at number three on both the UK Singles List and the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1960, she achieved a concurrent musical triumph.
Concetta is not only a filmmaker, but she is also a screenwriter, producer, cinematographer, editor, and actress. She is still involved in show business, although due to her advanced age, not much of her appears on the screen.

Poncie Ponce was a stand-up comedian, musician, and actor from the United States. Although he initially attempted to become a welder in a trade school in Hawaii, he was eventually summoned to serve his country for two years in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. He was able to perfect his artistic abilities in Germany in the clubs of Munich.
After being hooked by the entertainment bug, Ponce visited Hawaii’s regional talent shows, television, and radio stations after returning to civilian life. He made the decision to try his luck in Los Angeles when he received a push from Hawaii tourist crowds.
As the witty taxi driver, Kazuo Kim on the Warner Bros detective series – Hawaiian Eye, Ponce later gained widespread recognition in 1959. Since then, he has been in a number of highly regarded films and TV programs.
He had cardiac surgery in 2000. He recovered and resumed his performing career up to his passing on July 19, 2013, at the age of 80.
American actor John Joseph Williams worked in theater, cinema, and television. He is best known for playing Scott Carey in the 1957 science fiction picture The Incredible Shrinking Man and for playing Greg MacKenzie in the lead role on Hawaiian Eye.
Prior to his entertainment career, he joined the US Air Force after finishing high school, serving from September 1948 to September 1952, both before and during the Korean War. As a staff sergeant in the Air Force, he was released.
Williams died on July 28, 1985, of peritonitis at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Los Angeles
American singer-actor Troy Donahue signed with Universal Studios in October 1956. Donahue’s major break in his career came when Warner Bros.’ A Summer Place featured him opposite Sandra Dee.
In the 1980s and into the late 1990s, Donahue kept starring in several movies and is known to have played his last movie role in Sally Kirkland’s comedy The Boys Behind the Desk (2000)
Unfortunately, Donahue had a heart attack on August 30, 2001, and was sent to Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica. On September 2, he passed away at the age of 65.
