In 1996, he began his television career from WLNY-TV in Riverhead, New York. There, he worked as a news director and anchor for a year and joined 1010 WINS News radio station. In 1998, he moved to the CBS-affiliated WFOR-TV and worked as an anchor for four years. From 2002 to 2003, he worked as an anchor for WNYW-TV, also known as FOX5.
