Drew Starkey was born to his parents, Todd Starkey and Jodi Ballard Hutto on June 3, 1993, in North Carolina, the United States. He shares a sibling bond with his brother, Logan Starkey, and his two sisters, Brooke Starkey and Mackayla Starkey. Drew’s parents parted ways with a divorce after which his mother married Brian Hutto.

For his education, Drew attended St. Stephens High School. Eventually, he enrolled in Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina.  He graduated in 2016 with a double major in English and Theatre performance. Drew holds white ethnicity and his birth sign is Gemini.

Drew began his acting endeavors with the 2014 short movie, The Radical Nortion of Gene Mutation. He later appeared his other short movies like Lost Soles (2015) and Up the Hill (2016). His major movie breaks are Love, Simon (2018), The Hate U Give (2018), and Just Mercy (2019).
