Courtney Mims is an American award-winning sports broadcaster. Currently, she works as a weekend sports anchor at KNWA-TV and Fox 24 News (Pig Trail Nation) based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Pig Trail Nation Arkansas Razorback News is a KNWA, KARK, and NBC Affiliates for Northwest Arkansas. 

Prior to that, she worked at WMBB News 13, an ABC and The CW Plus affiliate station in Panama City, Florida. There, she served as a sports director from 2019 to 2022.

Mims was a sports reporter at ESPN Gainesville, serving from 2017 to 2018. Moreover, she was a multimedia journalist at WUFT-FM, an NPR member radio station owned by the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.

While at college, she was a sports reporter for ESPN 98.1 FM/850 AM WRUF. She also worked as the sports anchor for WUFT’s First at Five show.

Besides, she has also worked with Sports Radio 1560 “The Fan” with Cumulus Media in Melbourne as an intern for the Mark Moses Show, WCIV ABC News 4 in Charleston, South Carolina. Similarly, she was a sports intern with WCJB TV20 in Gainesville, Florida.

The journalist attended Edgewood Junior/Senior High School in Merritt Island, Florida. After graduating from high school in 2015, she went to the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications. There, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications in the year 2018.

One of the three children in the family, she has two younger siblings; a sister named Callie Mims and a brother named Josh Mims. Callie is a third-year student in the University of South Alabama’s Combined Clinical-Counseling Doctoral Program. 

Moreover, she earned a Master of Science in Psychology from the same college in 2023. Her brother Josh is a basketball player and plays as a guard at the Florida Institute of Technology.
