You want your pets to be as comfortable as you are when traveling together. Thankfully, there are a number of great pet-friendly options when it comes to hotels and accommodations on Hilton . Here are some of our favorites.
Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island
This AAA Four-Diamond resort proudly hosts your furry family members as part of its PAWS (Pets Are Welcome at Sonesta) policy. Pets will be welcomed with their own beds, bowls, waterproof mats, and, of course, treats at check-in. There is no breed or weight restriction and up to two pets are welcome to stay in a suite. There is a $150 fee applied per stay. Hoping to bring your non-canine pet on vacation? No problem. Sonesta Resorts welcomes all pets — just be sure to call the hotel before booking.
Conveniently located with direct beach access, Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island offers multiple on-property dining options, all-ages and adults-only pools, and an on-site spa.
Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort
Situated on beautiful pristine beaches, Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort located in Palmetto Dunes boasts access to an 11-mile lagoon system for canoeing and kayaking, championship golf courses, and three pools. Plus, you can bring your pup along for the fun!
This luxury resort allows guests to bring up to two dogs under 50 lbs and offers pet-friendly accommodations on the first and second floors of the South Tower. Pet rooms will be charged a fee of $200 per stay, are limited based on availability, and should be requested in advance.
Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa
This oceanfront resort is located on the northern end of Hilton Head Island, so guests can expect serenity at every turn. Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa offers bike rentals for guests and access to over 60 miles of public leisure pathways and nature trails to explore with your four-legged friend!
Guests are welcome to bring two small-to-mid-sized pets per room. A pet fee of $150 per stay applies, and pets must weigh under 40 lbs.
Home2 Suites by Hilton, Hilton Head Island
If you’re after something a little more centrally located, Home2 Suites by Hilton might be just what you’re looking for. With suite kitchenettes and free shuttles on offer, these rooms and suites provide plenty of freedom for your Hilton Head Island stay.
Dogs and cats can vacation with their humans at Home2 Suites by Hilton, provided they are under 40 lbs and well-mannered. A deposit of $100 applies per stay.

Sea Pines Forest Preserve
Walking the trails at Sea Pines Forest Preserve is a great way to spend a morning or afternoon on Hilton Head Island with your furry friends! This serene natural sanctuary is centrally located but wild at its core, so dogs are allowed on the trails, provided they are on a leash at all times.
To make your day extra special, pack a picnic lunch for you and your pup to enjoy.
Captain Mark’s Dolphin Cruise
One can’t-miss experience on Hilton Head Island is a dolphin tour. For more than 40 years, Captain Mark has been leading this tour through the inland waterways, where guests can see Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and incredible views of the island coastline. Even better – you don’t have to leave your dog high and dry for this fun excursion! Pets can join you on your cruise as long as they are on leash and well-behaved.
Paddleboard with your Pooch
If you have a dog who loves the water as much as you do, paddleboarding might just be the Lowcountry activity for you! SEAnic Paddle offers personalized tours for you and your pup, and if you’re lucky, you might just meet some dolphins along the way.
Dog Parks
Unique and one-of-a-kind travel experiences with your pets are great, but sometimes they just need to play outside. Chaplin Best Friends Dog Park, located within the Chaplin Community Park, offers a large area for dogs to run and play. They have separate spaces for big and small dogs and shaded benches for pet-parents to rest as they watch their fur babies meet new friends and wear themselves out!
