Christiane Amanpour is a British-Iranian Journalist and TV personality currently serving as the Chief International Anchor for CNN and the host of a talk show program on CNN international called Amanpour. Previously, she worked as an anchor and reporter for ABC News from March to August 2010. Amanpour also works as a presenter and co-host on a PBS talk show news program called Amanpour & Company.

Amanpour attended and finished her primary school education in Iran. Later, her parents enrolled her in a boarding school located in England called the Holy Cross Convent in Chalfont St, Peter at the age of eleven. Christiane then graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and communications from the University of Rhode Island in Rhode Island, New York.
