I modified my configs to auto-unlock DLC engrams on all maps, as well as replace crafting recipes to allow making those items without map-specific resources, and thought I’d share them. Warning: Walls of text ahead.

Intro

Since I wanted to still use climbing picks, zip-lines, ocean platforms etc. on older maps, I modified the configs to unlocks all DLC engrams (except TEK) so they can be used on all maps, as well as replacing DLC resources with comparable vanilla ones in crafting so you can actually make them. Since it involved a lot of boring copy/pasting, and all the others guides I could find were outdated, I thought I’d share it so you don’t have to.

Note that in Singleplayer, ALL maps use the same config. This isn’t really an issue for the engrams, but you probably don’t want to modify the intended recipes. So choose carefully which you want, I’ll put them in sorted by map. You’ll also need to change the config when switching maps, so playing several at once would be problematic. Servers don’t have this problem.

Usage: Copy the EngramEntryAutoUnlocks and ConfigOverrideItemCraftingCosts commands you want to the end of game.ini (found in ARK/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor for singleplayer, ARK/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer for servers).

It should be formatted so each line starts with EngramEntryAutoUnlocks or ConfigOverrideItemCraftingCosts. If it isn’t, site added line breaks you’ll have to delete for it to work.
