Jerry Lee Lewis became a father for the first time as a teenager. The late singer was born in Ferriday, Louisiana, to Elmo Kidd Lewis Sr. and Mary “Mamie” Herron Lewis. Lewis was only 16 years old when he got married for the first time to a preacher’s daughter named Dorothy Barton.
