The Jefferson County Historical Village will host its annual Heritage Festival the first weekend of October.
Demonstrations and old-time crafters will be on the grounds, as well as costumed docents to provide tours of the Historical Village. Food and drink will also be available for sale. There will be a church service at 10 a.m. Sunday in the Mt. Olive Church. Musical performances are scheduled throughout both days.
