For those who are looking to be fully immersed in the universe of Fullmetal Alchemist, It’s advised to watch the original and then Brotherhood. It isn’t required in order to understand the events taking place in the latter.

Is Fullmetal Alchemist worth watching?

Overall, it’s an incredible series. I’d recommend this to anime fans, and fans of fantasy or sci-fi of any kind (unless you just can’t stand Japanese cartoons). FullMetal Alchemist is definitely one of the best television series out there.
