Why cant I erase and deregister my Nook?
Problems that occur immediately after the installation of an update often indicate a corrupted file. When this occurs and you cannot reset the device, you must Erase & Deregister your Nook. Open the “Device Info” screen and tap the “Erase & Deregister Device” option to gain access to the Erase and Deregister function.
