When Is Next Friday

What is considered next Friday?

People generally understand next Friday as the Friday after this, that is, if you are on a Thursday, and someone tells you to meet him next Friday, it doesn’t mean the next day, but rather, Friday week, the Friday after.

Is it next Friday or this Friday?

As a general rule, “this Friday” should be the immediate Friday in our future, whether we’re talking about it on Saturday or Thursday. “Next Friday” should be the following Friday.
