So, if you prefer your laptop to be deliberately partially crippled, in the name of quietness and longer battery life, by all means use the CoolSense software. But if you’d like your fans to cool more effectively, able to use full speed when necessary, and you’d like a bit more performance, shut off CoolSense.

Should I delete HP CoolSense?
