While you may have only just heard of Lily Collins, her acting history actually dates back to an incredibly early stage in her life. Her acting career began at the young age of just two years old, which is considerably younger than most stars within the media and entertainment industry.
The role would see Collins star in a series known as Growing Pains, which would air on the BBC, one of the biggest broadcasting houses in the UK. Already, Collins had dug her acting roots deep into the ground — and she was only set to flourish from there.

However, the star began to make a real name for herself after starring in the 2012 film Mirror Mirror, playing the very impressionable role of Snow White. She has also starred in Love, Rosie, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, Windfall, A Wizard's Tale, and Abduction.

Lily Collins Wanted To Play 'Emily' As They Shared Similar Characteristics
Over the course of her career, Lily Collins has played a variety of different roles, including some incredibly high-profile ones which likely earned her a pretty penny. But what is it that attracted the talented actress toward playing the lead in Emily In Paris?
In an interview with the publication Cosmopolitan, Collins revealed the very specific reasons she was drawn into the role. Speaking to the publication, Collins explains how she felt as though she and Emily were very similar in nature, in the sense that they were both very determined characters.
She explained how the character of Emily 'sees 'no' as a comma, not a period', much like herself during her earlier acting days. It was these shared similarities that enticed Collins, pulling her toward the character of Emily.
She also added that it was created by someone whose work she admires, Darren Starr. She stated: "When I was in high school, we devoured all of 'Sex and the City.' Darren has a sharp eye for creating fantasy worlds in which audiences love to disappear into while also tackling relatable and humorous issues."
Starring in Emily In Paris has not only gained Lily Collins hoards of new fans, but it has also likely earned her a pretty penny to add to her current estimated net worth of $25 million.
