About Nuit - It Service

Service Delivery is the interface between the University and the IT Service. We ensure a customer-focussed service aligned with the University's Vision and Strategy.

Business Partnering

We are the strategic interface between the University and NUIT. Our team of Business Partners work with senior stakeholders to help align the University’s business and IT strategies, inform the NUIT delivery model and ensure NUIT operates as an effective business partner with all key stakeholders

Consultancy and Academic Support

Our team provides specialist advice, guidance, help and support for both research and education related IT challenges. We work with you to understand and analyse your specialist academic research and teaching requirements and to identify or design a suitable solution.

Service Management

Our team establishes and maintains the catalogue of NUIT Services, ensuring that services are fit for purpose, consistent and meet the needs of our customers. We work with the wider NUIT to manage service performance, develop service functionality and introduce new services to fill any gaps in service users’ requirements.

Business Support and Innovation

Our team works across the University to support business-led initiatives and major programmes of work. This includes, for example, the University’s annual business processes, large capital projects and prestigious events. We work with you to understand your requirements and we coordinate the provision of NUIT services needed to meet them. Wherever possible, we help to build, champion and facilitate innovation in the services we offer.

Digital Adoption

Our team enables and supports people to adopt efficient and effective working practices using University IT Services. We contribute to developing digital capability within the University, taking an inclusive person-centred approach through partnerships with other University services.
