In 1990, a young guy by the name of Edward Warren Smith, also called Eddie, disappeared from the bar.
Dahmer invited Edward Smith, a 27-year-old acquaintance, to his flat. Smith was given drugs and strangled.
It is believed that serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer destroyed his body after he was killed. Hence, his body was never found.
David Thomas, Richard Guerrero, and Steve Tuomi are the other three of Dahmer’s victims whose bodies have not yet been discovered. Smith is one of them.
What Happened With Edward Warren Smith?
On the evening of June 14, 1990, Smith was last seen leaving The Phoenix Bar in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Smith has vanished without a trace.
He was last seen with Dahmer leaving the party.
It is assumed that Smith crossed paths with serial killer Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer and traveled with him back to Dahmer’s home in West Allis, Wisconsin.

Smith’s skeleton was kept in Dahmer’s freezer for several months in the hopes that it would not retain moisture, as opposed to being promptly acidified or bleached, both of which had previously made the skulls of other victims brittle.
Edward’s skeleton was acidified months after freezing failed to remove moisture from it.
The skull was accidentally destroyed by Dahmer when he dried it in the oven, which led to the explosion of the skull.
Later, Dahmer told police he had felt “terrible” about murdering Smith since he couldn’t retain any part of his body.
Dahmer Was Found Guilty Of Murdering Edward
In Wisconsin in 1991, Dahmer was apprehended for a number of killings of young men.
He claimed Smith was one of his victims and that he had strangled him in his statement to the police.
Police and doctors testified during Dahmer’s three-week sanity trial about how the serial killer’s urges to have s*x with the dead drove him to the drug, kill, and dismember his victims.
For the murder of Smith and other fatalities in the early 1990s, Dahmer received a life sentence. In 1994, a prison prisoner murdered him there.
