Shaun Cassidy and Tracey Lynne Turner first crossed paths in 2003. At the time, Cassidy had just gone through a divorce with his second wife, actress Susan Diol. Turner, on the other hand, was a successful producer and had a small history of being on the small screen.  The two hit it off right away and began dating shortly after. They quickly fell in love and decided to take the next step in their relationship.

Caleb Cassidy's Father Shaun Cassidy's Past Married Life

Before marrying Tracey, Caleb's father Shaun was married twice in his life. He first married Ann Pennington a celebrity couple of the late 1970s and early 1990s. They met in 1978 and married in 1979, staying together for 13 years and having two children before divorcing in 1993.

The couple had two children together, Caitlin Ann (born 1981) and John (Jake) Pennington (born 1985). After their divorce, Shaun went on to have a successful career as a writer and producer, creating and/or producing several television series including American Gothic, Roar and Invasion.

Shaun is currently an executive producer and writer for NBC's medical drama New Amsterdam. He then made his vows to Susan Diol. The couple were together for eight years, from 1994 to 2003. During that time, they welcomed a daughter, Juliet Jones Diol-Cassidy, who was born in 1998.
