Elvis Stojko is one of the successful figure skaters from Canada. He has been a World Champion thrice (1994-95-97), two times Olympic Silver medalist (1994-98), and seven times Canadian Champion (1994, 1996–2000, and 2002). He was coached by Uschi Keszler and Doug Leigh.

Elvis Stojko was born in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada to parents, Irene Stojko, Steve Stojko. Though he was born in Irenee, he was raised in Richmond Hill, Ontario. He is an American and is of Hungarian and Slovenian descent.
