Vivine belongs to the American nationality and is Chinese by ethnicity. Since she gained fame mostly after her marriage, a major portion of her life before her wedding is unrevealed.

While she works as a support for her husband, Roger is the chairman of the Golden Eagle International Group. He established the company in 1992 in Nanjing, China, by opening a departmental store in his own tower.
As time went on, the business ranged from departmental stores to real estate development and automotive maintenance.
Similarly, he established Golden Eagle Retail Group to focus on all the departmental stores under Wang, mainly in Jiangsu Province in 1995. In 2006, the company opened to the public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
