Jane Pauley is an American television anchor and journalist. 67-year-old Pauley active in journalism career since 1972, is currently is the anchor of and the former face of NBC's  program for 13 years.

Jane Pauley was born as Margaret Jane Pauley in Indianapolis, Indiana, the United States of America to Richard Pauley and Mary Pauley. She has a sister named Ann Pauley.

Jane Pauley is of American nationality and her ethnicity is white. She was enrolled at Warren Central High School in Indianapolis and she graduated from there in 1968. Later, she attended Indiana University in Bloomington. Since her childhood days, she used to compete in debate and public speaking tournaments.

Jane Pauley's journalism career

After completing her college education, she then began working for then-CBS affiliate WISH-TV in Indianapolis. In was 1975, when Pauley began her career with NBC, by joining WMAQ-TV in Chicago.
